This was the year that Coventry City ended a 25-year spell outside the Premier League, bringing to an end a crazy and traumatic chapter in the club’s history as the Cov fans finally rediscovered what it meant to be Sky Blue.
Rather than do my usual season review, I thought this would be an appropriate time to focus on the journey as whole, to fully place a return to the top-flight in its full context. This is intended to be the definitive breakdown of Coventry City’s fall and rise to the place where they are now.
