A tall central midfielder signed over the summer from non-league Lewes, seemingly to bolster the under-23 side. Bosma was a regular for Lewes last season, building up a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder, and showed signs of being better than the level he was playing at (the 8th-tier). A two-year contract nonetheless indicates that Mark Robins and the scouting team view Bouwe Bosma as someone who could eventually develop into a first-team player, but this is a signing that seems to be in the category of a low-risk punt.
